STEELMASTERS #24 VIETNAM

Steelmasters #24 Vietnam
There’s something about the Vietnam conflict that makes it an alluring subject for modellers interested in naval subjects.

Thankfully, French modelling mag Steelmasters have given modellers an attractive range of inspiring subjects in their “Thematique” number 24 which dropped through our mailbox in January 2014.

Steelmasters is great value & we love it here at Scale War Machines HQ but like with all magazines, it can be costly collecting every edition. However, if you are a naval modeller, we can guarantee you will not be disappointed with this edition.

Inside, are about 80 pages of great modelling subject matter printed onto their usual high quality colour artpaper. While there are plenty of land subjects, the bulk of the publication’s photography is given over to water-borne subjects.

The standout articles in fact feature a fantastic diorama by Jose Brito with a LCM Mk3 & LCVP – which is very highly recommended. There’s also a nice PBR & plenty of historical references of the Brown Water Navy.
Treadheads meanwhile can take in an Ontos, ACAVs & M48s as well. All well-made & nicely photographed.

A good investment.
